LawnMatrix is run by Bronx Web NZ ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you or your crew use LawnMatrix, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It follows the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Your account. Your name, email, phone and business details, and records of when you sign in and what you accept (like the Customer Agreement).
Your business's data. The customers, properties, jobs, quotes, photos, notes and crew details your business puts into LawnMatrix. That belongs to your business. We hold it on your behalf and only use it to run LawnMatrix for you.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use your customers' details to market to them.
We use a small number of services to run LawnMatrix. Each only gets what it needs to do its job.
Some of these services keep data outside New Zealand, including in Australia.
Job photos are stored so your business has a record of the work. When crew start and finish a job, the app may record the phone's location at that moment so the business can check the work was done on site. It does not track anyone in the background.
Each business can only see its own data. We take reasonable steps to protect it, but no system is perfect. If we find out data has been accessed or lost in a way that could cause harm, we will tell the business without delay, and the Privacy Commissioner where the law requires it.
While your business uses LawnMatrix, and for 90 days after it cancels in case it comes back. Then we delete it. A business can ask us to delete it sooner.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. If you are a customer of a business that uses LawnMatrix, please contact that business first, as they decide what is stored about you.
If you are not happy with how we handled your information, tell us first and we will try to sort it out. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
